1. Provincial Coverage
   
   • No specific limits on $ spent or visits, but must not be excessive or will be investigated.
   • Initial visit $13.50, subsequent visit $10.50.
   • X-ray coverage.
2. User Fees
   
   • DC can charge what is appropriate.
   • Average initial visit user fee $15, subsequent visits $11.
3. Workers Compensation
   
   • Initial visit $28.25 + initial report $37.50.
   • Subsequent visits $21.50.
   • No user fee can be charged.
   • X-rays covered.
   • Treatment length determined case by case.
4. Auto Insurance (SGI)
   
   • Initial visit $28.50 + initial report $60.
   • Subsequent visits $ 21.50.
   • Treatment based on Quebec Task Force Guidelines, up to six months of care.
   • Paid for update reports of $40-60.
   • X-ray coverage.
5. Family Income Plan / Social Services
   
   • All visits $14.40, no specific limit.
   • No user fee can be charged.
6. Veterans Affairs
   
   • Pays user fee for up to 20 visits/yr.
   • Call for pre approval of treatment.
7. RCMP
   
   • Covers 15 visits/year, can get another 12 visits with MD approval.
   • Initial visit pays full amount (up to $70), subsequent visit pays full amount (up to $30).
8. Private Insurance (Blue X)
   
   • Usually covers user fee immediately, then full fee after prov plan used up, check coverage in advance.
   • Usually covers 80 % of chiro costs up to $200-$500.
   • Usually covers 80 % of orthotics cost.
9. Native Affairs
   
   • Copay covered by Dept. of Native Affairs, no specific limit.
